Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and in the presence of Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Raed Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri, Director of the Department of Arab Organizations and Federations at the League of Arab States, the Arab Union for Construction and Real Estate Development will launch its press conference next Tuesday, November 26, in the “Alf Laila” Hall at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cairo, adjacent to the headquarters of the League of Arab States, on the sidelines of the “General Assembly Meeting of the Union”.
The conference is scheduled to review the Union’s vision, agenda and initiatives for the coming year 2025, in addition to launching the Union’s website. It will also announce the launch of the first Arab award of its kind concerned with honoring Arab achievements in real estate development. The award will be periodic every three years and will be granted to a select group of Arab personalities and institutions that have been able to make a mark and a distinctive mark with their achievements nationally and Arab-wide in enhancing the real estate development process.
It is worth noting that the Arab Union for Construction and Real Estate Development is a member of the Forum of Specialized Arab Unions, sponsored by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, to contribute to achieving the goals and objectives of joint Arab action. Its idea emerged in 2002 and is headed by Counselor Dr. Laheq Al-Otaibi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The principles of the union stem from the importance of concerted efforts to enhance the components of real estate development in the Arab world and the importance of joint Arab action in developing strategic projects capable of advancing the reality of the real estate sector as a vital sector that plays its civilizational and developmental role supported by research, studies, innovative executive plans and advanced laws that keep pace with the requirements of the era in developing cities and rural areas and preserving the Arab urban heritage.
